UW Overlay Utilities
MATLAB tools to create overlay images from NIfTI or ANALYZE files (neuroimaging format) and convert them to DICOM for use in the clinical environment. This software was created to allow radiologists and neurosurgeons easy access to fMRI data which is typically created in file formats incompatible with PACS or DICOM systems.

Features:
- Easy directions for creating fMRI overlay maps from AFNI
- Create overlay for fMRI activation maps or diffusion DWI/DTI imaging.
- Convert NIfTI (.nii) or ANALYZE (.img/.hdr) images to DICOM format
- DICOM conversion preserves headers and patient data, and is compatable with upload to PACS or surgical neuroimaging systems.

- MATLAB image processing toolbox (for convert2dicom)
